Who We Are

The British Columbia Camping Association is a voluntary non-profit association comprised of member camps and interested individuals whose primary purpose is to promote safe and quality summer camping. This is done by maintaining a standards and accreditation program, providing information about camping practices and informing the customer about camps. We are a filiated member of the Canadian Camping Association and the other Provincial Camping Associations across Canada and International Camping Organizations.

Our Mission

The British Columbia Camping Association is dedicated to providing member camps with leadership, education, accreditation standards and promotional services for organized camping for children, youth, adult and families.

Member camps foster creative, spiritual, recreational, physical, mental, social, leadership and educational growth of each camper in a multi-day group living experience.
