Thank you for inquiring about the British Columbia Camping Association. We are a volunteer organization dedicated to the promotion of quality camping for children, youth and families.
An Individual Membership for $25.00 includes our handbook of required and desirable camping practices for accreditation for camps ("The Standards"). This also places you on our contact list to keep you up to date with BCCA events and information.
Once a camp has been in operation for one year it can apply for accreditation to become a Member Camp. Contact the BCCA Office for more details and a registration form.
Membership benefits for camps include:
- Regular information bulletins (by fax or e-mail).
- Discount on fees for the annual Camping Conference (held late winter or early spring).
- Access to the Canadian Camping Association Insurance Program(s).
- A 1/2 page listing in
fully searchable database on the web.
- Opportunities for networking and fellowship.
- Accredited Camps can display the B.C.C.A. logo on promotional materials. Contact the office for an electronic copy of the logo.
