Spend your summer making a lasting impact in the lives of kids while growing in leadership, community, and faith. Cabin Leaders play a key role in creating a safe, fun, and Christ-centered camp experience for campers on beautiful Moberly Lake.
Position Details:
This is a seasonal paid position reporting to the Head Cabin Leader, beginning June 15, 2026. Cabin Leaders are provided with room and board for the duration of the summer, with wages starting at $145.64 per day. All Cabin Leaders are required to attend staff training prior to campers arriving to help prepare for a safe, fun, and meaningful summer at Camp Sagitawa.
Qualifications:
- Experience working with children or youth
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to provide leadership in a group setting
- First Aid certification is considered an asset
- Comfortable supporting the Christian mission and values of Camp Sagitawa

Responsibilities:
Cabin Leaders live in cabins with campers and are responsible for helping provide a safe, supportive, and engaging camp experience. Responsibilities include:
- Supervising and caring for campers throughout the day and overnight
- Building positive relationships with campers and staff
- Supporting campers through challenges such as homesickness
- Leading cabin activities, discussions, and devotional times
- Assisting with games, activities, meals, and camp programming
- Participating in staff meetings, training, and team responsibilities
- Helping maintain a positive and respectful camp environment
